A Celebration of Sustainable Seafood

Our team of chefs kick off Stoic & Genuine’s School of Fish cooking classes in the Stoic & Genuine kitchen. During your 2-hour class you’ll learn the cooking techniques that apply to different types of seafood – some classic and some modern. Cooking seafood is a labor of love and we look forward to sharing our passion with you!

Each class is $115 and includes lunch

January 7th – Florentine Fishmonger

A collection of our favorite seafood dishes from Tuscany.

February 4th – Galicia

Known for some of the best seafood in Spain, the cold waters of Galicia provide the backdrop for some historic and well evolved cuisine.

March 4th – Risotti Mantecate

We will prepare a duo of seafood risotti, as well as some some other curated dishes from Emilia Romagna.

April 1st – Spring is Here! Let Us Sear

A celebration of spring vegetables accompanied by an in-depth discussion on technique of fish cookery focusing on how to get crispy skin, and a beautiful sear on scallops.

May 6th – Sfogliatrice e Matarello

Handmade pasta class from Italian classic recipes.

June 3rd – South America

How to make Ecuadorian style ceviche, as well as a few cool dishes from our collection of South American cookbooks.
